I have to second Bob. And, nice cropping. The pattern led my eyes right up to the little dog. I wonder how well the shot would work a few seconds later.

The unconventional cropping and the black & white brick pattern makes this a very interesting composition. I wish the little dog slightly brighter…

Could you please let me know where did you take this picture? Is this crosswalk painted or is this a special material used to delineate the crosswalk?
