Here’s the background… I initially saw the tile creature in the 2nd image at 15th and 10th, behind the Chelsea Market building. I took a picture but didn’t think much of it as an image. Then I saw the contents of the 3rd image at about 10th and 1st Ave, on the front of the public school that currently functions as something of a theater. So then I had two images. Last weekend I saw a much larger tile creation, the first image, that looks most like a ghost from pacman in soho on Mott just south of Houston.
I’m really kind of curious if and where other’s might be. Anyone know anything about these or others?
Update 7/27: And it seems we have a winner. An anonymous comment left by “Waco” sheds some light on the space invaders. Very cool.

lol.. u named it alien! hehehe. maybe it’s a logo of some group (group of aliens? hehe). it made me curious too…if ever you find out anything about it, you tell us, ok?

the first one seems to be a pac-man ghost, but the other two look like Space Invaders’ aliens in the ‘up’ + ‘down’ positions, respectively.

Luv these lil critters..saw two in LA, CA and about died of happiness. Can’t wait to see some in the mid-south, as i’m sure we will.
